My name is Irene. I was born in Asturias (Spain), and nowadays I'm based in Portugal since the end of 2019.
I am a Dancer & a Physiotherapist, and most of my life is dedicated to the study of body movements, through creation, performance, healing & teaching.
My main focus right now is to bring people to a closer relationship with their physical body, to understand how it works, to take care of it, to enjoy the harmony of movement. _ .Your Body is Your Home.
I also want to encourage people to come together, to dance, to celebrate!
It´s the time to (re)find, (re)discover the brightest version of our beings. There is no other way than sharing with others.

What's going on
Spending some time in Mazunte, México, my dance and my treatments come with me.
Contact Improvisation scene in Lisbon continues alive with all the facilitators crew, and from this other side of the ocean I keep on creating next gatherings for the next season:
a new edition of Renascimento em Dança, 5th - 10th April and Weekend Marathon Jam on the 15th, 16th April (+ info coming soon).
Asturias Contact Festival also have new dates for its 7th edition: 22nd - 30th August 2023.
